RE-DEFINE – Luxury Residential Design Forum 2012

Italian Interior Designers for China (IIDforChina), the unique project focused on cooperation between Italian Interior Designers and Chinese Designers, Contractors, Developers and Companies, in 2012 is organizing “RE-DEFINE – LUXURY RESIDENTIAL DESIGN FORUM“, the first platform on ultimate contemporary luxury culture applied on Villas and Residential space.

The Forum offers the unique chance to collect the edgy ideas of the best Chinese and Italian Designers who reveal their personal approach and philosophy on Luxury Residential Design.

The Kick-Off of the Forum will take place on 7-9 December 2012 during the Guangzhou Design Week with an Italian-Chinese round table where the most relevant trends and concepts will be shown and explained directly by the creative protagonists, the Designers.

During the Kick-Off a dedicated Book containing the most significative works will be officially presented.

The Italian Interior Design Association (AIPi) and the Guangzhou Design Week are the patrons of the
prestigious Forum. To welcome and promote the Forum, they will jointly organize a series of symposiums
starting from March 2012 around China or Italy. In China , 8 -10 symposiums will be hosted in the following
main cities:

• Changsha, March 2012
• Wuhan, April 2012
• HAERBIN, May 2012
• NanNing, June 2012
• TianJin, July 2012
• Fuzhou, August 2012
• NanChang, September 2012
• Hangzhou, October 2012

The Application Entry process for designers both for the Forum and the Book is the following : starting from April 15th to September 15th , the Application Form will be available to be downloaded from the platform www.iidforchina.it & www.gzdesignweek.com : the Italian Designers will submit the filled form and the required documents directly to www.iidforchina.it, while the Chinese Designers will submit the same docs to www.gzdesignweek.com, the Guangzhou Design Week website, in the designated area.

The Application Form will require some personal info of the Applicant and the following elements:

• A personal photo of the Designer/Studio, high definition 300 dpi JPG format
• A personal definition of Luxury Space, 140 words, WORD format
• At least 1 design concept/work to support the personal perspective of “re-defining luxury residential design”, high definition 300 dpi JPG format + description of the work in WORD format

From September 15th to October 5th 2012 the Italian Interior Design Association (AIPi) and the Guangzhou Design Week will evaluate all the submitted data; on October 6th 2012 the official list will be announced online on the websites.

The organization of the Forum and the promotion tour will be supported by the strategic partnership with Marmocer, www.marmocer.com.
