Gianfranco Palmisano

Minimalist, essential, purist, convinced that the form provides support, halfway between being creative and being rational. His philosophy of life lies in knowing that, as Munari quoted, design is not an expression of luxury but a design theory that works, that responds to needs and creates answers to improve human life.

His training career was born on a technical and solid basis and then moved on to more free and open horizons.
Qualified surveyor, he graduated in Industrial Design at the Faculty of Architecture of the Polytechnic of Bari. Subsequently, he specialized in architectural interior design. He lives and works in his mother land, Puglia, rich in history, culture, art and passions, but above all in colors. It is precisely the latter who express the essence of his knowledge, from which he draws at every moment that he faces his own project to be realized.

The Call to nature is the basis of the choice of its materials, the Architectures
contaminated by different cultures end up giving it inspiration of form and beauty.
Of the past it should be remembered that in September 2004 he was elected winner of the first prize with special mention at the design competition organized by Arflex international and Rima editrice, entitled “Il Gusto del bello, Il piacere di abitare.
Since 2013 he has been a Professional Member of AIPi (Italian Association of Interior Designers), where he held the position of member of the Board of Directors from 2018 to 2021.
