Carlo Beltramelli

Founder of IIDforChina

Carlo Beltramelli has more than 40 years of active experience in the field of Interior Design and Architecture. He was born in Vicenza, North-East of Italy in 1955. He founded his first professional Studio near Venice, in 1979 he moved again to Vicenza where he founded “La Nuvola Design” Studio and finally the “Carlo Beltramelli Interior Designer” Studio.

Beltramelli’s peculiar style is well known both in Italy and abroad, especially in the United States, in cities like New York, Miami and Beverly Hills. He pays a lot of attention to chromatic matching through a deep research on old and new materials; all projects are realized using ecosustainable materials and energy saving-lighting, building and mechanical systems.


Beltramelli is an AIPI member (Italian Association of Interior Designers) since 2003, Responsible of Veneto Region for the Association from 2005 to 2007, CEO from 2007 to 2010. He is board member of ECIA (European Council of Interior Architects since 2009, following special projects like “The Oral History” and “Interior Architects Mobile Academy”. He is currently member of the Educational Commission of AIPI, and he cooperates with the Bachelor Committees at Polidesign in Milan.
